About Iden.tt Certificates

An Iden.tt Certificate is an electronic document signed by Iden.tt that is installed on your computer.

Once an Iden.tt certificate is installed on a computer, you can authenticate yourself to Iden.tt from that computer using your password and the certificate. Your identity is made strong through the use of two different types of identification.

Iden.tt certificates are strongly protected. They cannot be stolen by phishing web sites and used on another computer to mimic your identity.

You should only install Iden.tt certificates on trusted computers, such as your home computer or a work computer where you have a login that you don't share with anyone else.
